Organisation settings control how Sentalis looks and behaves across your entire facility. Changes here apply to all users in your organisation — from the labels used throughout the interface to the logo displayed on the login page. These settings are only available to users with the admin role.
Only administrators can view and edit organisation settings. If the Organisation section is not visible on your Settings page, your account does not have the admin role. Contact your organisation’s admin to request changes.

Accessing organisation settings

Select the gear icon in the left sidebar to open Settings. If you are an admin, the Organisation section appears below the Profile and Background sections. All changes take effect for your entire organisation once saved.

Organisation profile

The Organisation profile section holds your facility’s core identifying details.

Display nameThe name shown throughout Sentalis for your organisation.
Primary contactThe name of the person responsible for Sentalis at your facility.
Contact emailThe email address Sentalis uses for important account communications.
Update any of these fields and select Save changes to apply them.

Branding

The Branding section lets you customise how Sentalis looks for your organisation. Enter a URL to your organisation’s logo in the Navigation logo URL field. This logo appears in the sidebar navigation. Use an SVG or PNG image hosted at a publicly accessible URL.

Brand colours

Use the Primary colour and Accent colour pickers to set your organisation’s colours. These control highlight and interactive elements throughout the interface.

Login page images

Upload separate hero images for light and dark mode. These images are displayed on the right side of the Sentalis login page and give your team a familiar branded experience when signing in.

Select an image slot

Under Login page images, you will see two slots: Light mode and Dark mode.

Upload an image

Select a slot to open your file browser, then choose an image file. Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, and WebP.

Confirm the upload

The image appears as a preview in the slot once uploaded. The change is saved automatically.

Remove an image

To remove an uploaded image, select Remove below the preview.

Dashboard background image

The Background section lets you set a custom hero backdrop image for the main dashboard views — including Command, Flow, Devices, Automations, and Facilities. Upload separate images for light and dark mode. This image is shared across all users in your organisation.
Background images must not exceed the maximum file size shown when uploading. If your image is rejected, reduce its dimensions or compress it before re-uploading.

Terminology

The Terminology section lets you override the default labels Sentalis uses throughout the interface. This is useful if your facility uses different names — for example, “room” instead of “bed”, or “resident” instead of “patient”.

Leave any field blank to keep the Sentalis default. Changes apply immediately across all views once saved.

Localisation

The Localisation section controls regional preferences for dates, times, and units.

Enter your locale and timezone using standard codes. Select the temperature unit your facility uses for sensor readings. Select Save changes to apply your localisation settings.
If sensor temperature readings look incorrect, check that the temperature unit matches what your sensors report.
